Celebrating 25 years of WES’ work in Canada and bringing its community together. We supported event design and delivery, creating space for recognition, presentations and conversation at Toronto’s Globe and Mail Centre.

World Education Services wanted to celebrate its work in Canada and its continued collaboration with staff, stakeholders and partners.
The engagement combined a 25th anniversary celebration on May 7 with a board meeting on May 8, 2025. Event Specialists provided support from early ideation through onsite delivery, working closely with the WES team and event vendors.
Our scope included project management, finance and budget management, supplier liaison, venue and food and beverage management, speaker management, and onsite event management and support.
The celebration needed to honour a milestone while creating meaningful opportunities for WES’ community to connect.
WES wanted to recognise Canadian staff and partners and facilitate engagement between board members, industry thought leaders, people with lived experience and staff. The event needed to balance presentations and recognition with time for conversation, supported by a practical delivery plan.
We designed the celebration around making the most of the time WES’ community had together. Networking and a local display sat alongside keynotes and speeches, creating space for both formal recognition and informal conversation.
Family-style meals kept that connection going at the table. Sharing food gave guests more time to talk and enjoy each other’s company within a short programme.
Behind the scenes, we coordinated speakers, suppliers, venue arrangements and onsite delivery, bringing these elements together into a welcoming celebration. We also managed the following day’s board meeting.
The celebration brought 200 people together in the heart of Toronto, combining recognition and presentations with opportunities to connect.
WES shared positive feedback about the event. Our team helped turn its anniversary goals into a coordinated experience, supporting both the celebration and the board meeting.
