COMMAND includes the full strategic design of the experience from the first conversation through to the post-event debrief. Event Specialists designs the experience architecture, owns the complete production and runs the show on the day. The client’s role is to walk into the room and lead it.


ENGAGE is for organizations that arrive with a defined vision and need a partner to own the full execution. The client directs the strategic intent. Event Specialists manages every element of the production from concept through to close, including a dedicated Project Manager, on-site execution and a post-event debrief.


The distinction: COMMAND includes strategic experience design as a core part of the engagement. ENGAGE begins where the client’s vision ends.

BLUEPRINT is designed for organizations with capable internal teams who need a proven strategic framework and experienced oversight rather than full production management. Event Specialists designs the event strategy and experience architecture, provides monthly advisory sessions and conducts milestone reviews at three months, one month and one week before the event. The internal team executes the plan. Event Specialists ensures the plan is sound.


ENGAGE and COMMAND both involve Event Specialists owning the production. BLUEPRINT does not. It is a strategic advisory and quality assurance model, not a production management model.

For a flagship leadership summit or annual conference, nine to 12 months before the event date is the right starting point. For an executive retreat or strategic offsite, six months is a reasonable minimum for a well-produced experience. For inaugural or signature events, earlier is always better. The strategic design phase requires time that most organizations underestimate.


For BLUEPRINT engagements, the minimum retainer is six months, which means the earlier the conversation begins, the more value the advisory relationship delivers. A 30-minute call is enough to assess your timeline and confirm whether the production schedule is achievable.

Every format is produced under one of our three engagement models: COMMAND, ENGAGE or BLUEPRINT. The format and the engagement model are determined by what the event needs to accomplish, not by a standard package.

It is designed for organizations managing three or more events annually or for executive teams that want a consistent event strategist embedded in their planning from the start of the year. We work with association leaders, corporate executive teams and entrepreneurial community organizations wherever the event takes place. The standard of the production does not change based on location.
